"The DJ BT just featured (Rob Dickinson's) vocals
on an upcoming single, “The Unbreakable,” Canadian outfit Neverending White Lights currently has a radio hit with a Dickinson
duet “Where We Are” and he’s been writing songs for the long-awaited comeback of Journey’s Steve Perry."
July 2008: Sony are reissuing a package of Steve's remastered solo CD's on August 5. The set is available for preorder now from Amazon and other sellers.

Why Can't This Night Go On Forever
Continuing our look back at what happened in Steve's career, this time during August:
1978: release of Lights as a single.
1979: August 25 - Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' enters the Billboard Top 40; it will climb to #16.
1979: August 30 sees the final concert of the Evolution Tour, in Houston, TX.
1980: Stay Awhile and Good Morning Girl are released as singles off Departure.
1981: August 1 - Who's Crying Now enters the Billboard Top 40. It will peak at #4 and become Journey's first Top 10 single.
1981: August 8 - Escape enters the Billboard Top 40 where it will achieve #1 status.
1986: Girl Can't Help It is released as a single.
1986: August 23 - The Raised On Radio Tour begins at the Mountain Aire Festival, Angels' Camp, CA.
1990: August 22 - Street Talk is certified double platinum.
1996: August 7 - Steve Perry confirms that Journey's new album, Trial By Fire is complete.
2003: August 5 - Soul Sessions by Jeff Golub is released, with Steve featured on track #8; Can't Let You Go.
2005: August 9 - Steve guests on track #5, A Brand New Start, on David Pack's new release The Secret Of Movin' On.
2005: August 31 - Confirmation from John Kalodner that he and Steve are working on producing the Houston DVD for a fall release.
2006: August 1 - Sony announce the forthcoming release of the reissued, remastered Journey catalogue.
2006: Steve shows his support for the newly opened School Of Rock in L.A. with a visit.
