When did you buy your first computer? In 2001
Where is your current computer located? I have a laptop and it is there where I am.
Been a fan how long? A real fan since 2001. I became aware of Steve's voice in 1977 when I listened Steve's voice
in
Wheel in the Sky on the radio for the first time. Unfortunately I couldn't follow the musical development of
Journey because I couldn't buy Journey CDs where I lived. After the Fall of the Wall the situation changes to better. In
2001 I held
Journey Greatest Hits in my hands in a store and read
Wheel in the Sky on the cover.....and I
thought, "I remember!! This song was sung of a man with a great voice.................." Of course I bought this
CD.....................the beginning of a big passion.
First time I heard Steve sing I felt:
It is interesting that I remember exactly the situation when I heard
Wheel in the Sky for the first time. I was 16
years old, sat in front of the radio and I stopped doing something while listening this song because Steve's voice fascinated
me immediately. His voice stood out from all other voices you could hear at this time. I could listen that the name of the
group was "Journey". All the years later I still had an imagination of the sound of Steve's voice in my mind. Later I found
out that the front man of Journey would be a part of
USA for Africa. I listened
We are the World...............and
the beautiful voice was back to me. There was no doubt which part Steve sang......I recognized it at once. It took me 23 years
from listening the first song to have my first Journey CD including
Wheel in the Sky.
Favorite CD:
It is a difficult question because it depends on my mood. Can I choose two of them?
Captured and
Greatest Hits + 5 Unreleased
Have you seen Steve in concert?
Unfortunatelly no!!!!
If you could put one song in a time capsule for future generations what
would it be and why?
Faithfully because this song has everything to be the biggest song ever: Sung of a great voice plus passion plus hope of love and warmth...............the wish of everyone in life!
