There you are! Fidgeting in your seat, anxiously anticipating the
sight of your favorite bunch of rockers - but wait a second! The lights are fading, the curtain's
going up and there in the midst of already blazing guitars stands Journeyman Steve Perry,
animatedly watching those "Lights" go out in your city!
Take A Rip Roarin' Rock 'N Roll Ride With Steve Perry And The Gang!
Journey's guitarists, lead Neal Schon (right) and bassist Ross
Valory (left) stand on either side of Steve, coming together to share guitar licks or get
into their very own battle of guitars!
Ross and Jonathan Cain whoop it up with a little back-up vocalizing,
Though he's the newcomer to this red-hot band, Jonathan is a quadruple threat - he plays keyboards,
guitar, sings and writes music!
Way in the back - though certainly not forgotten - sits drummer
Steve Smith. Well you can almost call it sitting! Steve pounds those skins so hard and
fast, he's generally decked out in shorts and a "T" so he can do his thing with no holds barred!
Mmm, mmm, mmm! When sexy Steve gets to singing about "Lovin', Touchin',
Squeezin," he's impossible to resist! You know for a fact he's singing right to you!
"Keep On Runnin'" sing those Journeymen in something that resembles
a football huddle! Look at Jonathan go on guitar!
It's okay with Steve and it's okay with "J" (that's what the Journey guys
call Jonathan!) - "Any Way You Want It" is the order of the day!
Is there anything more fun than watching Neal go to town on guitar
and Jonathan on keyboards?! Those rockers work out and then send "Dead Or Alive" right up to
the balconies!
Journey's secret is a combination of superb writing, singing and
playing, and now you can hear it all come together in their heartfelt rendition of "Who's
Crying Now." Steve's voice, Neal's guitar and J's piano all blend to make your heart melt!
With his hair tightly framing his face, Steve winds up this show
with the message that has become synonymous with Journey. "Don't Stop Believin'" is the name
of the game - a game they play for their one 'n only you!
