Though they're busy touring with their fabulous Escape LP, the members of Journey always make time to visit their fans and entertain them with a little something more than a musical concert. A charity ball game against a local radio station - this one was against San José's KOME team - not only brings them closer to you, but provides the guys with the room to blow off a little on-the-road-again steam! Think those "Journey Rhinos" (that's their team title!) have a chance of winning? Keyboardist Jonathan Cain and guitarist Neal Schon are up for the challenge.

Steve Perry is usually behind the mike giving blow by blow descriptions of the exciting sandlot games to the many fans in attendance. They don't call him a lead vocalist for nothing!

Decked out in his baseball jersey and swifter-than-swift playing shorts, blond Ross Valory plays the outfield with his cap in reverse. But you can bet his wide open grin is staring straight ahead at a Journey landslide and at some of KMOE's pretty female team members and fans!

If Neal looks a bit concerned about covering those bases, you'd better look again! With his sleeves trimmed to a serious height, he's all set up for any fliers that come his way.

Now it's Neal's turn at bat, and even his dark glasses and pre-concert beard can't hide his intent when it comes to that speeding ball! He's about to whack in another run for the T.J. Martell Leukemia Foundation. The guys donate all their baseball proceeds to this fine charity.
