Let The Sunshine In
Hello Everyone!
We are going to start our 1st donation drive for the International Federation of Red Cross/Crescent Societies.
A quick overview:
- The donation drive will be between July 1st and September 1st
- There are many different ways you can contribute (outline below)
- Payments will be easy: Check; Money Order or Paypal
- There will be prizes for the biggest amount donated and then a general drawing for 1 lucky winner -
if you donate - your name gets put in for the drawing. So winning is easy! There will also be a third
winner - see below for details.
How Long Is The Donation Drive?
July 1st through September 1st.
Remember you can donate anytime - just click on the PayPal button. The Donation Drives are just a fun way to get people involved.
How Can I Contribute?
1. Buy Sunshine. No, really! We have set up a special page onsite - a relaxing beach scene. For every $5.00 you
donate - you get a sun to put in the sky over that beach. On the sun you may dedicate it to anyone you want: your kids,
Steve, a pet, a Country you'd like to see helped, etc. So, for every $5.00 you donate, you get one sun, we then contact
you for the dedication and then you can watch your generosity shine!
2. Make a Pledge. Weekly, Monthly or one big one before Steve's birthday. Decide on when and how much - contact us and
we'll put you in our Pledge Drive. We'll even send reminders out to you when it comes time to send in the money.
3. Direct Donation. Prefer mountains to beaches? Pledges not for you - well don't despair - just click on our PayPal
button and make a direct contribution. No muss no fuss!
How Do I Pay?
- Check or Money Order. Make them out to the IFRC and please be aware - the checks will not be cashed until January of 2008.

What Happens The Rest Of The Year?
Through December 2007
We are planning at least two more donation drives between September and January. So, if you can't Pledge or Donate now - there will be more opportunities in the future. But always remember - you can donate any time. You do not have to wait for a donation drive to donate! Just click on the PayPal button and it's quick, easy and makes you feel great!
January 2008
It will be necessary to cut off all donations by January 4th, 2008. On that day we will request a check from PayPal (which usually takes 5 - 10 working days) and then on January 21st, 2008 - all of the donations will be sent overnight express to the IFRC so they will arrive on January 22nd, 2008 - just in time for Steve's Birthday.
Prizes? What Prizes?
While donating to a good cause is always rewarding - we also attempt to make it fun as well. There will be 3 prizes given out:
1. The biggest donation amount. (added together or in one lump sum)
2. Everyone else who donates (no matter what amount) will have their names put in our magical hat and a name will be drawn for a winner.
3. Whomever donates to both the IFRC and Save The Chimps* first.
All winners will be contacted via e-mail and at that time will be able to pick their prize from the steveperryfans.com prize chest.
Then the winners will be announced in the message center for congratulations all around.
